Description
Brake oil, also known as brake fluid, is a liquid used in automobile hydraulic braking system.
Features:
-High boiling point: The boiling point of brake oil is usually high, generally above 200℃. This is to prevent the brake oil from boiling and generating bubbles due to excessive temperature under frequent braking or high temperature environment. Bubbles will increase the compressibility of brake oil, which will make the brake pedal soft and affect the braking performance.
-Low freezing point: Its freezing point is generally below -40℃, so as to ensure good fluidity in low temperature environment and make the brake system work normally.
-Good chemical stability: Brake oil should have strong oxidation resistance, hydrolysis resistance and corrosion resistance, which can keep stable performance in long-term use and will not damage the metal and rubber parts of the brake system.
-Appropriate viscosity: The viscosity of brake oil should be moderate, which can not only ensure rapid flow at low temperature, but also provide sufficient pressure transmission efficiency at high temperature to ensure the sensitivity and reliability of the brake system.
