GS-XM spark oil is a highly stable dielectric liquid specially designed for advanced electric erosion technology. The spark oil has good cooling and cleaning effects; Its proper viscosity effectively washes away the metal chips produced during electric corrosion from the machining gap, reduces the accumulation of carbon slag, and has the advantages of high surface finish, high accuracy, small tolerance, little smoke and odor during machining, good oxidation stability, long service life, low volatility, high flash point, safe use, clear and transparent color and no irritation to skin and nervous system.
Composition and characteristics:
-Composition: It is usually prepared from highly refined mineral base oil, refined by high-pressure hydrogenation and isomerization dewaxing technology, and is the product of kerosene hydrogenation.
-Characteristics: It has the characteristics of low viscosity, with general viscosity below 2.0 and good fluidity, which can effectively remove carbon slag and make carbon slag particles separate and precipitate quickly. It also has a high flash point, usually above 110 degrees, good insulation performance, low volatility, strong chemical stability, clear oil color, water white and bright without foam, non-corrosive, light smell and low aromatic hydrocarbon content.
Function:
–Insulation Deionization: In the process of EDM, an insulation layer can be formed between the tool electrode and the workpiece, so as to maintain proper insulation strength, prevent short circuit between the electrode and the workpiece, and at the same time help to deionize and make the discharge process stable.
-Cooling function: it can quickly absorb and take away the high temperature generated during EDM, avoid the workpiece and electrode from being deformed or damaged due to overheating, and ensure the machining accuracy and the service life of the electrode.
-Removing carbon slag: With good fluidity, impurities such as carbon slag generated during processing can be quickly taken away, so as to prevent the accumulation of carbon slag from affecting the processing effect and keep the processing area clean.
